TRU Hotel Hilton Lancaster

TRU Hotel by Hilton Lancaster East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County, PA

Land Redevelopment for the New TRU Hotel by Hilton Lancaster
Springwood Hospitality worked with RGS to design the site for one of the first TRU Hotel by Hilton hotels in the world, launching a new brand for the company.

The RGS team relied on its strong relationship with East Lampeter Township to work through the municipal challenges presented by the redevelopment site. This allowed our team to expedite the approvals for Springwood Hospitality and accommodate the client’s aggressive project timeline ahead of the launch of the new hotel brand.

Maximizing Usable Space on a Small Site
The 112-room TRU Hotel by Hilton Lancaster is located on a 4.5-acre redevelopment site. Fitting the hotel, restaurant, and parking area on a shallow, small site with more than 14 feet of elevation change pushed the RGS team to develop a creative design strategy. Our team configured the design to maximize the new hotel site’s useable space and reach the number of hotel rooms required by Springwood Hospitality.

Allowing the Hotel’s Visual Presence to Take Center Stage
The TRU Hotel by Hilton brand has a strong visual presence with a modern exterior design. These features are meant to grab the attention of guests and appeal to today’s travelers seeking a boutique, one-of-a-kind hotel experience. To ensure that the building’s bold exterior stole the show, RGS worked with the client to take advantage of the site’s elevation changes to highlight the building from the well-traveled Route 30 commercial corridor. Our team also placed the main parking area behind the hotel as to not obstruct the view of the hotel’s unique architecture and brand from the highway.

The RGS team helped establish the TRU Hotel by Hilton brand with its creative design strategies, resulting in a highly visible modern hotel in the heart of Lancaster County.
