Revitalizing Outdoor Amenities
Equus Capital Partners enlisted our firm to provide design services for the renovation of the Bay Colony office campus in Wayne, Pennsylvania. The project aimed to enliven the site’s entry, improve internal circulation, and create a vibrant outdoor amenity space that encourages employee interaction and well-being.

Transforming Outdoor Amenities
The centerpiece of the Bay Colony renovation is the reimagined outdoor amenity space. Our team designed this area to provide a variety of gathering options for passive and active recreation, catering to the diverse needs of the office community. Decorative paving throughout the space delineates separate zones, creating a visually appealing and functional layout.

To ensure year-round usability, we specified an all-weather synthetic turf surface that supports an array of brightly colored site furniture. This combination, along with the strategically placed seat wall, offers employees the opportunity to take a short break outdoors, socialize with colleagues, or engage in playful activities using the outdoor amenities.

Integrating Aesthetics and Functionality
Our team selected plant material to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the outdoor space while also serving practical purposes. The chosen plants provide vibrant pops of color, adding visual interest and creating a more inviting atmosphere. Simultaneously, the strategic placement of vegetation helps screen undesirable views, ensuring a pleasant and focused environment for employees.

The Bay Colony office campus renovation showcases our firm’s ability to design outdoor spaces to create vibrant, functional, and engaging amenities that promote employee well-being and productivity. By combining thoughtful design, innovative materials, and carefully selected plant life, we have created an environment that encourages interaction, relaxation, and a strong sense of community within the workplace.
